This guy sure got worked up. Too bad it’s all fake.
There is no truth without love.
Put differently, an open mind requires an open heart. Continue reading Open heart
Dogma: You are to believe this without question.
My housemate attended Empowerment Temple, and idolized its pastor, Jamal Harrison Bryant. He told me this exchange he heard in the reception line after a service.
Jamal Harrison Bryant told this man, “God told me to tell you [thus-and-so].” The man said, “I don’t believe that.” Bryant answered, “If you don’t believe that, then you don’t believe God.”
Hearing this, I was incensed. This epitomized what we call “disembodied speech.”
Men are notorious for refusing to ask directions.
Can the Left concede any differences between men and women?
Working on the post “Other Jesus sayings,” which will probably appear in December, I must soon deal with Jesus saying, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country,” etc. (Mt. 13:57, Mk. 6:4, Lk. 4:24).
Those whom I regard as false prophets today are trolls.
This past week, in the comments sections of news articles, I’ve been called a commie more times than I can count.
There is also the relentless insistence that the Left is anti-Christian or anti-God.
… is rare on this blog.
Read the comments. What astonishes me is, post-Helsinki, Trumpers’ headlong rush to approve of anything Russia does.

In doing research for a different post, I just now got a big surprise, from this Wikipedia article:
Many years ago, I recognized that individuals I regard as false prophets are unusually prone to die of cancer. I could provide a long list, but just now there’s no need. I developed a theory of an “irritable personality,” and supposed such a personality might rise from the same genetic bases as a tendency toward cancer.
From this article, it appears that I was right. Although it doesn’t give any detailed description of what might constitute a cancer-prone personality, it sets forth that, at least in some persons, the two are definitely linked.

Final note: Not all trolls are false prophets, but all false prophets are trolls.
